Music Educator
Resources

The Music Achievement Council (MAC) is a nonprofit organization sponsored by The NAMM Foundation and the National Association of School Music Dealers (NASMD) that provides music educator resources to strengthen school music programs. For more than 40 years, MAC has brought together music educators, retailers, manufacturers and industry leaders to help more students begin and continue participating in instrumental music programs by sharing proven recruitment and retention strategies.

MAC’s monthly educator publications, More to Start, Fewer to Quit email and Choose to Teach video series offer practical strategies, advocacy tools and professional guidance to help educators strengthen school music programs, improve student recruitment and retention and inspire lifelong participation in music.
