Programs
The NAMM Foundation expands access to music learning and career opportunities through four core initiatives: Global Grantmaking, Best Communities for Music Education (BCME), Awards and Scholarships for career growth and the Museum of Making Music (MoMM). Our programs break down barriers to music learning and careers, recognize excellence in music education and celebrate the innovators and creativity shaping the music industry.
Our programs reach people at every stage of the musical journey. Global Grantmaking invests in charities worldwide that help people learn music and build careers in the industry. Best Communities for Music Education recognizes the K–12 schools and school districts nationwide that make music learning a priority for every student. Awards and Scholarships support college and trade school students preparing for careers in music and live entertainment; college faculty developing music business and leadership curricula; industry professionals stepping into leadership roles; and employees of NAMM member companies pursuing professional development. And in Carlsbad, California, the Museum of Making Music brings music industry history to life through exhibitions, concerts and hands-on learning for visitors of all ages.
