Global Grantmaking

NAMM established The NAMM Foundation to expand access to music making for people at every stage of life. Since our founding, we have awarded more than $20 million in nonprofit and music research grants that support music learning and career pathways across every segment of the industry, for every type of music maker.

Today, we focus on addressing the systemic barriers that prevent youth and adults from participating in music learning and pursuing music careers. We invest in bold ideas and innovative solutions that break down these barriers and create more music makers across the lifespan. Through Global Grantmaking, we bring NAMM’s vision and mission to life — funding the organizations doing the work, in their communities, to build a more musical world.
