We're excited to share that The NAMM Foundation is accepting applications for award programs. These programs offer support to attend The NAMM Show for college students exploring careers in music, college faculty creating innovative music business curricula, and mid-career music business professionals striving for career advancement.
Bernice Ash Memorial Award
The Bernice Ash Memorial Award provides mid-career professionals employed by a NAMM member company with a $5,000 award to use toward professional development. An optional $750 travel stipend is provided to attend The NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, Jan. 21-25, 2025. Awardees are also provided with a one-year mentorship through the NAMM Young Professionals organization. The submission period will close Sept. 9. Selected applicants will be notified on Oct. 28.
Faculty Fellows Program
Lamond GenNext Award
The Lamond GenNext Award honors college students who demonstrate excellence in the field of music (from performance to business to event technology, etc). A $750 stipend is awarded to help offset expenses to travel. Award recipients participate in professional development sessions, networking, and special events, and have access to the tradeshow floor to explore music products, pro audio, and live event technology exhibits. The submission period will close Sept. 9. Selected applicants will be notified on Oct. 14.
Women of NAMM (WoN) NAMM Show Scholarship
The Women of NAMM Fund NAMM Show scholarship program seeks to support women with goals to connect, support, and grow as professionals and leaders, and contribute to the development of the music products industry. The submission period will close Sept. 30. Selected applicants will be notified on Oct. 14.
