Music, Arts, and Social Emotional Learning: Working Together for Positive Student Outcomes
This Capitol Hill briefing is an opportunity for Hill staff and education policy professionals to hear from a panel of experts about the ways in which music and arts education support students in their growth to become resilient, socially empowered individuals practiced in responsible decision-making. Examples of state and local efforts to align music and arts instruction with social emotional learning (SEL) are provided, as well as opportunities for congressional support.
